Code Across America Planning Meet-Up

Your local Code for America Brigade, Open Salt Lake,  would like to invite you to the planning of our Code Across America event.   We hope that you will join us Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 6pm for our event planning discussion to further enable such collaboration.  The planning session will be held at 6pm at the Salt Lake City and County Building – 451 S. Background:

Coinciding with International Open Data Day, the goal of Code Across America is to activate the Code for America network and inspire citizens everywhere to get actively involved in their community. During the weekend of Feb 21-23, civic minded developers, designers, data scientists, and leaders from the Salt Lake region will gather to build upon our open data portal. We will by compiling and posting government data sets to our data portal http://www.civicdata.com/group/open-salt-lake and by adding links to other useful data sites.

  1. Last night we discussed setting up for the 2014 Code Across Event. We are still looking for a space and have reached out to the City Library and Westminster College. We are Planning on holding the event Friday February 21, 2014 in the afternoon.
